Whatever happened to the $3.00 shipping they boasted about?

@gardensla  Some items are $3.00 but others are $5.00 or more.  Seems the $5.00 (or more) are showing up more often than not.

I think the $3.00 shipping applies primarily to beauty items.

It's got to be something unique and special for me to buy footwear here, shoes are free shipping to/from on many sites.  Free shipping day last spring, I bought 2 pairs of wide calf tall boots. Classic styles that were on clearance. That saved a lot since Q charges over $10 to ship  boots. I figure I'd only have to pay return shipping potentially- but both are winners!

I stopped buying shoes from Q last year when it cost me $16 !!!!  to try on a pair of boots. I am hard to fit so now I only shop Zappos, Nordstrom (free shipping both ways!!) and DWS where I can return locally.

Me too. I saw a pair from the FFANY sale and as much as I like my dollars to go to a good cause, I'm not going to purchase them here. I think that buying allows QVC to justify its insane shipping charges--if they lost sales, maybe they'd get with the rest of the industry of their peers (mega-retailers) and offer free shipping.

I was just thinking how high the shoe shipping is, but I was looking at clearance shoes where the shipping is $7! I wonder why it's so high?!

Seldom have I seen a pair of shoes at QVC I haven't been able to find elsewhere for a better price and with free shipping.

I hesitate when it's a name brand designed just for QVC.

There was a time I always supported FFANY.  Now most of the shoes are "old" shoes donated because they are leftovers.
