That's why I love Zappos. Free shipping and free returns. Yes you might pay more but worth the headeache!

If you're Prime, shoes on Amazon ship free and often include free returns. They have a large selection, and sometimes their prices are lower than retail.

I just took a pair to the PO today to return to 6 PM.  The shoe box was a little larger, so the outer box was the next size.  Inexpensively, it was $8.95!Woman Frustrated

THe last pair of shoes I ordered from QVC cost me $10.00 in shipping.  They were those Go Walker clogs.  THat is the last pair of shoes I will ever order from QVC.  I can find any shoes QVC sells on other web sites with free shipping.

There was a pair of Earth boots that shipping was $7.50.  If I see something I like here I look elsewhere where I can get free shipping both ways.
