Hot dogs and tuna salad. That's about all I use it for.

My Dad ate liver sausage sandwiches smothered in pickle relish.
On my first job in fast food I learned to make tartar sauce (by the gallon). Pickle relish was one of the 4 ingredients.

I put a large spoonful of sweet pickle relish in my potato and macaroni salad.

Fresh from the farm blackeyed peas. My Aunt loves to shell peas and we must have cornbread and relish on the side of the peas from her garden. Then of course the standard fare hotdogs, potato salad ect.....

I've used it to jazz up a tuna salad using a box of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese as the base. I don't care for it in my tuna sandwiches but it's a must on hotdogs, sometimes on a hamburger especially a simply made burger with cheese, onion and mustard.

I have never shelled any kind of bean. I had grown string beans but you eat them whole. So I googled black eye peas just to see what the bean looked like and the BAND Black Eye Peas came up LOL
