vitamix soup

Just made soup in my vitamix for the first time yesterday--made tomato and it was easy and very good. What was I waiting for? Any fav soup recipes you make??

@wagirl zucchini soup but not in vitamix.The recipe is easy and probably would work in the vitamix though.

Having burned out my share of blenders over the years, I guess I'm afraid I'll wear my Vitamix out by running it long enough to heat something up.  So I mix up whatever and heat it in a pan.

I throw my chopped veggies in a glass measuring cup (a big one) put in a little tiny bit of liquid and nuke em a couple of minutes.  Then I put them with the rest of the liquid in the Vitamix and it takes less time and the veggies have a little cooked flavor I like better.
