My hematologist told me the second cooking of the bones produces the most marrow for good health and to use that for root soup.  I have profoundly serious anemia and receive infusions of blood and/or iron, and he has recommended that plus chicken and beef liver for my iron stores.

So many questions I would have for the doc.

First one, ‘show me a reputable study’ all the while

looking at him/her like,

@sidsmom   I am not a fool.  This is a very well-educated, well-informed young doctor with many journal articles written on hematology and oncology.

Probably thinks Paleo/Keto is good...both very bone brothy.

So sad to see doctors perpetuate this myth.

@sidsmom:  If you care to recall I posted about the diagnosis my hematologist gave me, ITP.  I asked him specifically about the WFPB "program".  He is a renowed Doctor in this area, and he said "no".   Everyone has to do what they have to do, including you and me.  It is not a myth.
