roosevelt beans

found this AMY STRAN tried and true recipe recently on her facebook page. it sounds good and easy......and hearty, especially for the colder months. she said her sister in law uses sausage, but you can probably use either or OR a combination. i might switch the beans around a little because i am not a huge fan of lima beans. maybe i will do white cannellini beans?

i wonder why they are called roosevelt beans?
