Having had dental surgery yesterday, this chicken is SO delicious and TENDER it's unbelieveable.  From a cookbook years ago, I renamed it off of a line from a show called the "Real McCoys" with Walter Brennen when I was a child.

You'll want rice, mashed potatoes, or something for the gravy.

"Drunk" Chicken (Chicken Supreme)

Favorite Home Economist's Cookbook

4 chicken breasts

1 can mushroom soup

1 can cream of celery soup

1 envelope Lipton's Onion soup

1 C wine.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spray casserole.

Place chicken breasts

Top with mushroom, celery and onion soup mix (no water).

Pour 1 C of wine over.

Cover very tightly.  Cook 1 1/2 hrs.  May need to thicken gravy to desired thickness.  Reheats great!

What kind of wine did you use?

@sann I used a white wine that was a gift.  It's a riesling.  Anything will work.  Personally, I like Barrenger White Zin.

@shy bobcat You will, more than likely, have to thicken the gravy.  Enjoy!
