For the best onion sandwich it is white onions all the way.  Anyone else a fan?

@Still Raining

My very  favorite raw onions are the Sweet Videla Onions from Georgia.

When Georgia has not had a good crop or out of season love white onions.

@Salreg

The recipe means you're looking for the young, tender green onions with tops, which are usually found in most grocery stores.  You will only use the white section of onion in the recipe.

Speaking of onions, I am trying to find a place that sells scallions.

Grocery store tells me a scallion is a green onion, but the receipe

call for using a scallion and specifically states do not use green

onions as they float to the top of the muffin.  It is  muffin made

with cottage chesse rather than flour.  Any idea where i can

purchase scallions?

@Salreg :  I found mine at Sprouts and also Publix.  I have found them at Whole Foods also.

Not mentioning any names 🤭 but some ladies have been known to take a road trip over to Walla Walla for onions and then have been FORCED to stop by Pendleton outlet.

Do you use mustard on it?

Goodness NO.  My mama would have died if I dared 😍

It does require a nice bread.
