I took this to a gathering this week it was so refreshing ...

1 pkg. lemon or golden oreos

6 tbsp butter, melted

1 - 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

3 1/4 c. milk + 2 tbsp.

4 c. cool whip

2 small packages - Jello instant LEMON pudding

1/4 c. sugar

Crush oreos (I used food processor) and add melted butter.  Press into 13x9" pan.  I reserved some for sprinkling on top.

Let chill for 15 minutes.

Whip cream cheese until fluffy - add sugar, 2tbsp milk & 1.5 c of cool whip till fluffy & mixed.  Spread over cookie crust. Chill 10 minutes to set.

Make pudding using 3 1/4 c. milk.   spread over cream cheese layer.  Let chill 10 minutes to set.

Top with remaining cool whip.  Sprinkle cookie crumbs on top if you want.

Chill 5 hours -- cut and enjoy!

Sounds good and I’ll try it (thank you for the recipe), but where’s the lasagna (lasagne)?

Lasagna (lasagne) is a pasta.  Well, it is in Italia anyway. lol

I guess it's the creators idea to call it "Lemon Lasagna"...on the other hand, in July when my boys come for sure we will have a true italian feast -- Lasagna the pasta way😉

Re: my new summer dessert 🍋🍋🍋 — Lemon “lasagna”

@homedecor1 Thanks that looks good!  My mom used to make this for us and we were nuts about it!

Lemon Fluff

Ingredients

  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1 package (3 ounces) lemon gelatin
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1-1/3 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

  • 1. Pour milk into a small metal bowl; place mixer beaters in the bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • 2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Stir in lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate until syrupy, about 1-1/2 hours.
  • 3. In a small bowl, combine crumbs and butter; set aside 2 tablespoons for garnish. Press remaining crumbs onto the bottom of a 13-in. x 9-in. dish. Beat chilled milk until soft peaks form. Beat gelatin until tiny bubbles form. Fold milk into gelatin. Pour over prepared crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Cover and refrigerate until set. Cut into squares.

Question, its cookie layer, then cream cheese mixture, then pudding, then more cool whip?
