marshmallow fluff?

I clipped a recipe from the newspaper's 'magazine' section for chocolate whoopie pies, and it calls for marshmallow 'fluff' as one of the ingredients for the filling. Is fluff the same as marshmallow creme in the jar? Just wondering, as it sounded like a fun treat to make at home. Thanks.
