I baked a sweet spud in my airfryer last night for dinner--turned out great--but it was the topping I put on it that was so delicious--- was hot honey butter---

4 T butter/margerine

1 T honey

2 tsp hot sauce

1/4 tsp salt

I added more honey and used siracha; also used margerine as DD is dairy free.

Dang it was so good!! We love siracha anyway and use it all the time.

Wendy's had a burger with hot honey, total disaster in our book.

This sounds wonderful thanks for the idea!  I will probably leave out the hot sauce I just cant do anything hot.

I liked the milder version of that Wendy's chicken sandwich a few months ago.  But when I opened the Hot Honey sauce pack that came with it I tossed it after a few bites.  That was nasty and way too much heat.  I did only buy the sandwich once so it was not good enough to bring me back.

@wagirl

Did you see this on the news a bit back?

Huy Fong Foods Inc. has halted production of Sriracha due to an ongoing chili pepper shortage made worse this spring. Hot sauce lovers will have to go without new bottles for months, including Sriracha, Chili Garlic, and Sambal Oelek. The company's pepper inventory had been dropping since July 2020 because of drought.
