when you buy honey butter at the store, read the label.  it may not be pure honey butter.  i did a demo at the library last julu and when i check out the store bought honey butter, it had all kinds of other things added to it.

i make my own.  i take 1/2 c butter and then mix in 1/4 c pure honey beat together.

again, check out the label on the honey to make sure you are getting real hon ey and not honey with other junk ADDED.

I make my own, too. Far less pricey and you control the ingredients.

Honey butter and add a bit of cinnamon and you are duping my fave steakhouse butter. I also make garlic butters, etc.

I found some simple glass butter/condiment keepers from Pyrex for $3.

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup marshmallow fluff

Whip with electric mixer and serve at room temperature.

I make my own honey butter - depending on what I'm serving it with, I may also add cinnamon to it.

I'm making orange honey butter for Thanksgiving to have with simple cornbread.  I'll be adding orange zest and maybe a bit of orange juice to good Irish butter and raw, organic honey.
