dried cranberry and white choc. chip cookie

I saw this recipe over the weekend and just finished making. Would be good for Christmas with the red and white inserts.

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup quick cooking (or old fashioned) oats

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 sticks butter

1 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 egg yolk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 cups white chocolate chip

1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 325.

line 2 baking sheets with parchment.

In medium bowl combine flour with oats,baking powder,baking soda and salt.

Beat butter and both sugars till creamed. Add egg/yolk, vanilla and beat well.

Add in dried ingredients and then add chips and cranberries.

Put heaping teaspoons onto baking sheets 2 inches apart.

Bake 12-15 minutes until brown t edges. Cool in pan and then move to rack.
