@spent2much , I made it today.  I made my own cream of chicken soup...I used broth, butter, and milk, whisked it together with the bisquick.   I used fresh broccoli,  leftover chicken shredded, and 1/2 block of sharp cheddar cheese.  I topped it with seasoned breadcrumbs and grated cheese.   I didn't eat it yet, but ill report back.

Oh...yeah, have to make hubby steak on the side 🙄.

Glad I added cheddar,  and lots of spices, topped with seasoned bread crumbs and parmesian cheese.   I used leftover chicken from @Chi-town girl garlic honey chicken. .   It's a mild dish, so if you don't dress it up it would be bland.  A nice spinach salad with some honey mustard, or ranch dressing would be great next to the casserole.   Really nice dish overall.

@Dazlin    I'd add a can of drained, sliced water chestnuts for a little crunch.
