@wagirl   I slice them like steak fries   I haven't done whole ones though

also try it with fresh sweet potatoes   the salt & pepper with the sweet is fabulous!

Never considered making baked potatoes in my air fryer. Will have to try.

the spuds were big ones--not huge but more than medium sized--poked them all over then the olive oil rub and s/p all over .

Temp was 400* on airfry for 45 minutes--don't think I turned them over either.

yes have done sweet spuds too ---were delicious

It's amazing how well the air fryer does on fresh cut fries.  I'm glad you discovered the pleasure!

Last night I had an extra yam that needed to be used up so I cut it shoestring size, didn't bother to soak them, just tossed with avocado oil and air fried until they were turning brown.  I also had a small sweet potato that I cut up along with it.  Very good.

Sometimes I buy the frozen friies McD's style but home cut are better.

@hayseed00  Usually less than 15 minutes.  It depends on how thick potato is sliced and how fresh it is.  (older/softer potatoes cook quicker)

I spray with oil, salt & pepper  pre heated airfryer 400   set for 15 minutes  flip or shake part of the way through   edges will be nicely golden brown

OK, free2be, I know sweet potatoes and yams are not the same thing, but what is the difference?  (or anyone else?)
