I made the Dirty Rice mix and found it to be a little spicy. They use to have this on their box to add an extra 1/2 c rice and 3/4 c water to the mix. I'm making their Red Beans and Rice tonight. I added the extra rice and water. And I added smoked sausage and onions to it. Can't wait for it to get done. Yum yum.

@Barbarainnc Thanks.  I have some but haven't cooked it yet.  May be too spicy for hubby!  Good to know!  I can always add back more heat.

I make a complete one pot dinner out of their Dirty Rice mix.

I brown one pound of the Jimmy Dean Italian sausage along with a chopped up onion.

Add a can of drained mushrooms, half a bag of mixed frozen veggies,  the rice mix and cook according to the directions.

Quick, easy and delicious.

I love their RB&R and I don't find it spicy at all.  I don't care for spicy.  I add kielbasa to mine also.
