Oh my how I love cake....only have it for birthdays though, too dangerous. A super moist tart lemon cake with a glaze or butter cream icing might be my very first choice.🥰

Black forest or Boston Cream Pie.  Black Forest has to be the real deal with booze soaked cheeries and real whipped cream.

It would be really difficult for me to choose, as I like so many of the cakes that have already been mentioned here!

I love a plain yellow or white cake with white buttercream frosting, like the kind of cake that you would have at a wedding.

I also love a rich chocolate cake too, with chocolate buttercream frosting.

I also like chocolate lava cake, or pudding cake, where you get that nice, soft, gooey center when you dig into it.

There's nothing like it when it's served warm with some ice cream or whipped cream. Heart Smiley Very Happy

Coconut!

and Macaroni Grill has the best chocolate cake with a lot of chocolate drizzled over it-

it is served warm.

I like the simple cake mix with the mandarin oranges added....and Cool Whip with crushed pineapple and pudding. Or a yummy pineapple upside down cake! I don't like a lot of sweet frosting - I always scrape off all those frosting rosettes! The best frosting I've ever had was my mother's 7-minute frosting.

Oh, definitely chocolate cake with homemade peanut butter icing.

Grandmother used to make the best cakes ever from scratch.

She would use applesauce in cake recipes too.

Most delicious cakes, better than any bakery.
