Starting to make this bread now!  No bread machine- I think the only tricky part will be shaping the dough into a rectangle and rolling it.  Never done it before, but I am sure it will taste delicious no matter what it looks like

Oh, no. It was 108 here, too. I haven't turned my oven on since March. It will probably stay off until November.

Mine was a sad excuse for a rectangle, but it doesn't matter in the end.  How did it turn out?

I don't know how you do it. I can't go one day without my oven and unfortunately, the thermostat for our central air is right off the kitchen, so when I'm using the oven, the rest of the house gets a little chilly :-)

We are on the same wave length, although it's only 72 degress here today. I used my oven in my summer kitchen and made Irish soda bread today. It's a recipe from QVC, one of David's if I'm not mistaken.
