In a thread below there was a discussion about making hard boiled/ hard cooked eggs, and several women mentioned steaming the eggs. I'd never heard of it before and tried it this evening. It just blew me away how easy the eggs were to peel and how perfectly yellow the yolks were, too.
I started a separate thread to draw attention again to this amazing phenomenon!
All you do is put the eggs in the steamer, bring the water to a boil, then cover the eggs, and let them steam for 20 minutes. No piercing, no salt, no vinegar, nothing else. What a discovery!
