@sabatini. Thanks so much for taking the time to type out that recipe for me.

This is something I know my husband and I will like.

@Mom2Dogs, IMO, nothing beats a freshly fried wonton for a special occasion.

Yes, the folding takes time, but it can be a relaxing production too. Folding while watching an old, favorite movie is highly recommended. Smiley Happy

I hope your party is wonderful, & a Merry Christmas to you.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas to you as well..I am feeling rushed this year - 1 less week between Thanksgiving and Chistmas and our family celebration is this weekend...+ busy at work!

I use wonton wrappers to make my pierogies.  Boil potatoes and use a ricer to eliminate clumps, mix with sauteed onions, farmer's cheese.  Fill and seal closed.  Drop in boiling water briefly until they float to top.  Then they are sauteed in butter.  I got this from an old Gourmet magazine years ago.  The wonton wrappers make the pierogies very tender and not doughy.

Yes, they make excellent pierogies.  Cuts my pierogi making time by 75%.
