Who is your favorite cookbook author?

I don't know if this has ever been discussed before?  I have some cookbook authors whose books I have a number of.  Do you have a few favorites?

My first cookbook after I got married was written by Fannie Farmer. Still used that book today 41years later. I have others but I use that one the most.

I don't own many cookbooks - just a few. America's Test Kitchen and Martha Stewart Cookies. Recipes I use most on the internet is Barefoot Contessa - ATK and Martha Stewart.

The Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook. It was a bridal shower gift 32 years ago.

I have always loved cookbooks and have a collection. My favorite is a set Called The Woman's Day Encyclopedia of Cooking that I bought in 1967 from the grocery store.

@qualitygal.  Hi. Actually there are 12 volumes and they are hard cover. Some great stories and recipes with some famous chefs at the time. The store had one volume to purchase each week.

Yes, Amazon has it, found the whole set listed.  That would be a wonderful gift too.  On my list now to maybe be buying.  What a prize from back then. I'm so glad you mentioned that!
