@MacDUFFIt settles  over the nuts. I never smoothed it  out, but you can if you wish

 

You can also mix all 3 ingredients  together ,and put them in a double boiler to melt, if you wish

 

I used to nuke the chips oa  low setting then mix the condensed milk in. I haven't made it in years but it is a crowd pleaser.. It's not that sugary ,hard dry,  kind of fudge. It is rich and very creamy and moist

Thanks for the extra tips, @cherry.   I'm going to try it...creamy and moist fudge is the only good fudge!  Heart
