I'd have to go with Red Beans & Rice as my all-time favorite "bean dish"
2nd favorite would be (spicy) Chili with dark and light Kidney Beans
3rd would be Black-eyed Peas & Stewed Tomatoes
Ok, now y'all got me craving what I call "Winter Time" food.

Sam's Club BBQ Baked Beans with Brisket pieces.....warmed, of course. Also Bush's baked beans (most any flavor). I have simple tastes!

Calico baked beans. They have three different kinds of beans; browned ground beef is mixed in before baking.

We tried that Sam's Club baked beans with Brisket pieces when it first came out. We were hooked. We end up buying it and don't always have a menu planned to use it but buy it just to have it.

I do like beans and these are two favorite recipes....both make a lot.
Slow-Cooked Beans (Taste of Home from JB in Ohio)
4 cans (15 1/2 oz) Great Northern Beans, rinse & drain
4 cans (15 oz) black beans, rinse & drain
2 cans (15 oz) butter beans, rinse & drain
2 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
2 1/4 cups salsa
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 to 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce*
(*I did not use)
In a 6 quart slow cooker, gently combine all ingredients.
Cook, covered, on low until heated through, about 2 hours.
Baked Beans (old family recipe*)
2 (20 oz) cans baked beans
1 small can crushed pineapple
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 lb. diced bacon
Saute' onions and bacon until tender; drain fat. Combine with other ingredients and mix well. Put in 9x13" baking dish. Bake at 300 for 2 hours. Uncover for the first hour.
* I think you could fix this in a slow-cooker also.
