Black bean hummus is my favorite *snack*.

Love cannellini beans in my hot and spicy *dirty* rice.

Love any kind of beans on my salad.

I love all beans and eat them almost every day, but I don't like lima beans.

@Houstonoilers   I make a bean chili - serve over baked potatoes with homemade vegan sour cream and avocados on top of the 'taters and chili.  So good.

bush veggie beans...I add mustard and maple syrup. These beans are a staple with veggie burgers

Three Bean Salad

1 15oz can cannelloni beans drained and rinsed 

1 15oz can chickpeas drained and rinsed

1 15oz can kidney beans drained and rinsed 

2 celery stalks finely chopped

1/2 red onion finely chopped

1 cup fresh parsley leaves finely chopped

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary 

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper 

In a large bowl combine all the beans and celery, onion, parsley and rosemary.  
In a small bowl whisk together lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper 

Drizzle the vinaigrette over the bean mixture and toss to coat. Serve at room temperature.

I love a dish called Cowboy Beans.  My neighbors used to have an annual BBQ and Fish Fry and we would all bring a side dish.  Man, we had some really good food there!

One of my neighbors brought a bean dish and she called it Cowboy Beans.  A mixture of different beans and seasonings.  I loved it and looked forward to it each year.  It is a recipe that makes a LOT so I have never made it at home, as we are only two people now.  

I sure miss it.........

A family favorite is a recipe I got from Walmart. So easy and quick.

12 oz Kielbasa

3 cups cooked rice

1 can of red beans - drained

1 can of Rotel

1 or 2 TSP chili powder

1 cup shredded cheese for topping

Cook kielbasa first and add other ingredients and top with cheese.
