What is your Favorite Smell of Cooked/Baked Food

I have so many that I like, but my favorite has to be fresh baked bread.  What's yours?

Fresh bread for me too. It brings me back to my childhood where my grandmother would bake fresh bread for us on Saturdays.

Can't pick just one....so.....some of my faves are:  freshly brewed coffee, bacon, brownies and roast chicken.

@wismiss   A simmering pot of homemade spagetti sauce or a prime rib roast, leg of lamb, chocolate chip cookies, are among my favorite cooking aromas.

The delicate scent of lavendar Earl Grey tea leaves, brewed properly, is the smell with which I start off my day.

I can think thiink of a few off the top of my head, most have been mentioned. h baked bread for sure.  Coffee, love the stuff! I make my own cold brew and buy it at Costco and grind it there, the smell is amazing....not quite as good as a quality coffee shop though! Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.  The smell of browned butter reminds me of my Mom's Armenian pilaf and of popcorn with brown butter poured on top after popping. Now I'm hungry!
