[this is my nic]

I used to make a chicken dish years ago, but can't remember its name!  

Here's what I remember:

Flatten boneless chicken breasts

place a slice of Swiss cheese and a slice of ham (thin sliced deli) on chicken,

roll up, saute

I don't remember the recipe for the sauce, but think it has sherry as one ingredient. 

Please help!

Not positive, but it sounds like chicken cordon bleu.

Chicken Cordon Bleu?  Or Chicken Kiev?  I think it is one of these.

If you have a Sam's Club in your area they carry a frozen brand of Chicken Cordon Bleu Stuffed Chicken Breasts. If your looking for a quick meal these are excellent. Just add a salad and dinner is served.

@this is my nic   I remember my DD making this dish.  The sauce started with a can of Cream of Mushroom soup but I don't remember what else.  ETA: also sour cream, s&p heavy cream??

@grandma2pkmh I make something that sounds like that sauce, 1 cup sour cream, a can of cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup white wine and a dash of salt.  Sometimes I add a small can of stems & peicies mushrooms.
