What is on your menu for New Year's Day?

I am interested in what people are planning to eat on New Year's Day. I have not finalized my menu yet. One year I got a great recipe here from someone for pork, kraut and apples that I make throughout the year. I am thinking I will prepare a pork tenderloin, hoppin john, cornbread, and greens. I may add brussel sprouts and cooked apples. Now tomorrow when I go to the store all of this may change.

Black eyed peas with ham in them; hog jowl; collard greens; corn bread; iced tea unsweet no lemon.

@Sooner

That sounds delicious. I am going to see which greens look the best.

I am making David Venable's Chocolate & Chile Braised Short Ribs.  This has turned out to be one of my favorite recipes.  I make it during the year, but I really like it for my New Year's dinner.

Smoked sausage (simmered in beer and sauerekraut).  Not sure if I'm doing potatoes or noodles.

Are you from the south? The only thing I've had from the above list is corn bread and iced tea.  I've never tried black eyed peas or collard greens.  And is "hog jowl" literally hog jowl?  I've never even heard of that!  I'd be willing to try all of these foods.  Your menu sounds good.

We always have pork chops and sauerkraut.  It's supposed to bring good luck for the new year.  It doesn't.  hahahaha

It's just DH and me, so we keep it simple. Our tradition is crab legs, mimosa's, simple munchies like a cracker/cheese/sausage plate, and a chip/dip....and college football!

I just made my first chicken pot pie today and it was so good that I might do that for New Years....I thought about trying Sooners menu but it seems a lot of work.
