I have a box of Ghirardelli brownie mix and I'm wondering what else I can make with it besides brownies.
Any ideas?

I vote for cookies!!!!! But I'll bet they'll have some dandy ideas (that will actually work) at the Ghiraridelli website.

Maybe use the brownies as a base of a cheesecake?

This a very rich, decadent, and calorie-laden dessert, but what a yummy cheesecake!:
1 9-oz boxed brownie mix
1 14-oz package caramels
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1 5-oz can evaporated milk
3 8-oz blocks softened cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup chocolate fudge ice cream topping
Spray sides and bottom of springform pan with PAM. Make brownie mix according to directions on box. Spread into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins. Sprinkle edges of crust with pecans, and bottom of crust with chocolate chips.
Melt caramels and milk over low heat in saucepan, stirring until smooth. Reserve 1/3 cup mixture for later and pour remainder over crust in pan.
Beat cheese, sugar, and vanilla with electric mixer until smooth in large bowl. Add and beat eggs one at a time. Pour over caramel mixture in pan.
Bake for 50 mins in 350 degree oven. Chill completely, loosen edges of cake with knife, and remove rim. Heat reserved caramel mixture and spoon over cheesecake. Drizzle with fudge topping.

Omg.... I checked on Pinterest and there is no shortage of ideas.
There are several for cheesecakes!
I happened to have a roll of refrigerated cookie dough that DH bought, thinking he'd make cookies himself. Of course he never did. It expired last month, but I'm going to take my chances since I don't eat them anyway! Ha!
The recipe is for "brookies".
The recipe calls for filling half a cupcake tin with prepared brownie mix, then adding a slice of cookie dough and baking for about 25 minutes.
MIne are in the oven now.
Thanks for the earlier responses and please keep them coming - I love having easy recipes in my bag of tricks!

I bought brownie box from Costco - 6 packs of brownie mix so I got creative. Placed mini peanut butter cup in each brownie -- poured into muffin tin. Family loved it.
