A lot of you enjoy eggs more than I do. I do make a wonderful Crustless Spinach quiche That our GSs could live on.
Quiche? Frittatda? What?
The youtube site I was on is "Hearty And Tasty"
The channel is herzhaftundlecker , is this German?
Looks yummy! I love vegetables! I could roast these and serve with dill sauce! It would be good with a lot of things, especially grilled fish or alone.
Vegetable Egg Casserole With Dill Sauce
Ingredients:
2 tsp milk
Cut up, blanch in water 10 minutes
* Olive oil –Heat in skillet
Cook
Pour over steamed broccoli and cauliflower
Mix vegetables in casserole dish

Dill Sauce

@house_cat @Sooner@Shanus Do you have a clue please? I know you love vegies too! Thanks!

It would be a lovely fritatta. If you were serving at at brunch, a nice mimosa would also be good, lol.

It just translates to hearty and delicious, which probably is the name of the channel, not the recipe. It does sound like a frittata to me also.

I would omit the cream and call it supper! Cut back on the cheese too, maybe add some olives? It sounds so good I'd call it: SUPPER! Sooner supper??? And if you have leftover roasted veggies put them in too!!
@ECBG Thanks for the recipe

@ECBG I think I'll stick with Frittata--which often have potatoes though! Ours would properly be called "leftovers!"

@ECBG I don't know German, but scrambled eggs with a bunch of things mixed in (milk, usually veggies and sausage) cooked/heated in a lightly oiled skillet and served in a pie shape is know as a tortilla in Spain and Puerto Rico, and probably other places. Many Spanish meals are based on eggs, not just breakfast. Frittatas I think are baked. Neither of these dishes have crusts like quiche.
