Yes @ECBG, frittatas start at the stove top and are baked as one of the last steps.  You may want to take a look at the recipes.  Spanish tortillas are not baked.

If I use heavy cream, I call these sorts of egg dishes quiche...in this case,  a crustless quiche. But I think you could easily refer to this as a frittata, even with the heavy cream.

 

Looks yummy whatever you call it.

I call it a frittata.  Then I call it what I want to make for dinner later this week.   Thank you for including the recipe.
