@SandySparkles ......use Black Walnut flavoring.  I had to order it from Amazon as our local stores did not have it.

Re: What Is Your FAVORITE Cake Or Cookie?🍪🎂 Include Recipes If You Like.

I bake bundt cakes for my friends and family; my favorite is Lemon.  It took me years to bake really good sugar cookies, they are delicious!  My family also really likes my Monster Bars, they are full of sugar, serve a lot, are quick to prepare and are really good!

LEMON BUNDT CAKE

1 lemon cake mix

1 pkg instant lemon pudding mix

1 cup 7Up

4 eggs

3/4 cups oil

Whisk dry mixes together.  In second bowl, mix the 7 Up, eggs and oil together.  In mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients with the liquids; beat for 3 minutes.  Pour batter into prepared bundt pan.  Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until it tests done.  Allow baked cake to cool 15 minutes, before removing from pan.  When cake is completely cool, drizzle with thin buttercream icing.  (I like to use several tablespoons of lemon juice to thin the icing, and garnish the cake top with lemon zest.)

THE BEST SUGAR COOKIES

3 eggs, separated

1 cup melted margarine

1 cup sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 tablespoons baking powder

4 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

Beat egg whites till stiff,  Beat yolks till creamy.  Combine eggs gently.  Add melted margarine, sugar and vanilla, mixing well.  Sift dry ingredients together and mix into the egg mixture.  Cover and chill dough for several hours.  Roll chilled dough on floured board to about 1/4" thick and cut as desired.  Bake on oiled cookie sheet for 8 minutes at 350 degrees.  Cool.  Decorate as you like.  I frost with buttercream icing and store in frig.  These cookies are very good for cutting and produce a thick, cake like cookie with a butter flavor.

MONSTER BARS

1/2 cup butter, soft

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter

3 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 teaspoons baking soda

4 1/2 cups quick rolled oats

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup chocolate M&Ms

Cream together:  butter, sugars, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla.  Mix in the soda and oats.  Blend well.  Fold in chips and candy  Spread mixture in an oiled 11 x 17" jelly roll pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes  Cool and cut into bars.

Re: What Is Your FAVORITE Cake Or Cookie?🍪🎂 Include Recipes If You Like.

I like so many cakes and cookies but I too will narrow it down.

I love cheesecake. I make a simple chocolate cheesecake in a ready made graham pie crust. It is the recipe on the eagle brand website, and the Philadelphia cream cheese site.

I love an Italian fig cookie- Cuccidati, that has been talked about on this forum. They are a Christmas specialty in my family. If you like fig, you would go crazy for these.

Just like  @ALRATIBA  I also enjoy the Entenmanns Marshmallow Devil's Food cake.   Sometimes I can't find it!  I'll make my own marshmallow cake with a box mix and whip up a marshmallow topping.
Another of their's that I craved during my 2 pregnancies 🤤 was the  Metropolitan cake, which I never see around these parts anymore.

@SandySparkles.  I'm so sorry, I was going to look that recipe up for you and completely forgot.  Glad to see somebody was on the ball.
