Re: What Do You Do With Coworkers' Produce?

We are self employed but we have customers that give us vegetables and quart jars of honey
We have a small garden, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash I share the extras with others
I don’t like the large cucumbers or zucchini

My garden has cucumbers and zucchini going gangbusters. I donate much of my crop to my neighborhood food pantry.

Re: What Do You Do With Coworkers' Produce?

It's lazy gardening when people let their yellow neck squash, zucchini and cucumbers grow HUGE, and that size produce is not something to be proud of and should not be shared with friends!  The best taste is in small to medium/large size vegetables with average size seeds.

You have to check the garden every single day to keep up with the growth of the above 3 vegetables!

Found another big cucumber ( not as big as the first one) on the picnic table this morning plus three big tomatoes!  I'm going to cut the cuke and see what it's like, if I can use it.  There are some soft spots on the tomatoes but I can get rid of that and use the rest. 🥒 tomatoes 🍅
