I'm switching from k-cups to regular coffee (beans or ground doesn't matter).

Can you recommend your favorite brand?  I tend to like a dark/french roast.

I get my coffee at Costco - either San Fransisco French roast whole bean or Starbucks French roast if it's on sale.

Goya.  Every time we try something else, we end up going right back to our beloved Goya.  I'm enjoying a cup right now!  It's smooth and full-bodied; nothing else compares as far as my husband & I are concerned.

@eddyandme you might like Folgers Black Silk.  I also like Pablo's Pride at Sam's Club.  I  believe cone shape filters makes a better coffee than basket filters.  Congratulations for making the change.  We quit buying K cups earlier this year also.  Better for the environment!

Peets coffee is the best IMO.  I love a good dark roast, rich cup of coffee!

Sounds good but I don't think I've ever seen that brand around here.  BUT I plan on checking.

I agree about the cone shaped filter.  We got a new Cuisinart coffee maker about a year ago.  It has the cone shaped filter and I think the coffee tastes much better.  We had a Mr. Coffee before with the flatter basket filter.

We grind our own beans -- Peet's Dickason's.  You can get it at Sam's Club or Costco.
