I like steamed dumplings with beef stew, not the kind you roll out and cut but the fluffy biscuit-like dumplings.  Love stewed chicken and dumplings in the pressure cooker too.  So quick and easy.

@Kachina624 For us that's Bisquick dumplings!  Sometimes with some chicken broth and herbs in the batter.  

They are cooked in the chicken and broth 13 minutes (exactly) with the lid off and 13 minutes (exactly) with the lid on!

@candys mine   What a great idea!  I like making a hearty veggie soup....I could pour it over some rice, noodles, or add some roasted corn and some fresh spinach leaves and top with some veggie parmesean cheese (Traders Joe's makes a good one).  Thanks!

My DH doesn't eat dairy ( so I don't use any cheese), 😢.  

I've made a tomato bruschetta on thin crispy Italian bread, with soup.
I've also served the organic tater tots in the air fryer- very crispy, yummy!

We had soup last night with wonder bread chaffles I made in the mini dash.

Although I'm not a big bread eater, I sometimes will make a little can of 5 Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits.  That's the only time I have biscuits, but hot ones with butter can't be beat.

BTW .....  I have found that crumbled goat cheese sprinkled over a bowl of soup adds a nice little kick to all the flavors.
