I'd like to find the recipe for the mushroom soup Jan made on several of the vitamix shows yesterday. I know I could just 'wing it' and I'm getting better at that, but I followed the directions on the Kraft Mac' n cheese box for YEARS before I finally quit measuring I'm just that way. What is on Vitamix's website seems much more complicated.

I'd love to get it too, and I think Jan said something about where to find it on one of his shows. Unfortuntely DH marched in to tell me something "funny" and I missed the comment.
I know that he was on with Jill when I saw him give the recipe and tell where to find it. Late night show. Maybe Jill can direct you to it. Please share if you find it.

I wonder why Jan can't mix it up and make different soups when he comes back for Show 2, Show 3 and Show 4. They had a DIP on and said receipe was on the website - I couldn't find it.

I found it by going back to the TSV and there is a red pdf file called On-Air recipes
Mushroom Soup
Ingredients:
3 Cups Crimini Mushrooms (Washed & Stems Removed)
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Thyme (Chopped)
1 Cup Veg Stock
1 Cup Plain Almond Milk (Unsweetened)
3 oz Cannellini (White)Beans
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Clove Roasted Garlic
Directions :
1) Sauté Mushrooms in pan with Olive Oil and Fresh Thyme and set aside (reserve 2 for garnish)
2) Add all other ingredients into your Vitamix in order listed
3) Add in sautéed mushrooms
4) Select variable speed 1
5) Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to high.
6) Blend for 5 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid
7) Serve and garnish with slivered mushroom slices and fresh thyme sprig.
Doesn't say how many it serves.
Click here for link. There are only 3 On Air recipes and I know Jan did more than that.

I own a Vitamix and have watched Jan Mueller make recipes and I have NEVER found the recipes. The ones I want are not in my Vitamix recipe book.
I no longer watch when the show is on; it's aggravating.
