WW has an easier version of a mug cake, it's a 3-2-1 cake. You pour a box of Angel Food Cake (you MUST use Angel Food Cake it helps with the rising) and a box of any flavor cake mix in a canister and mix together well. Spray an oversize mug with cooking spray. Use 3 TBS of the cake mix, mix with 2 TBS of water, and microwave at high for 1 minute. I usually check it at halfway, if it needs a few seconds more I add to it. I have used Devil's Food Cake with a few frozen pitted cherries thrown in and Cool Whip on top after it's done.

This recipe is too much trouble.  I just put any flavor cake mix in a mug, about 2/3 full, add about 1 1/2 tsp oil and enough water to make it batter consistency.  Micro about 1 1/2 min until top loses its shine.
