Vanilla Baking Chips

I have a recipe for peppermint fudge that calls for vanilla baking chips.  I can find white chocolate but not vanilla.  Is there a difference?  Do you think I can use the white chocolate chips instead of vanilla?

Yup, I couldnt find vanilla chips either.  I figure the white choc chips were close enough.
