The Southern ladies were soooooo very helpful in directing me to websites that sold southern pecans and I'm very appreciative!
Getting ready to order for holiday baking and wondering if roasted/salted nuts would be too much salt for baking cookies, banana bread and coffee cake? Should I stick with roasted nuts that are unsalted? The roasting brings out such a great flavor but I don't trust myself to get them roasted evenly and they're too pricey to make a big mistake.
I usually bake with unsalted butter and then add salt as required in the recipe. No health issues just taste issues!
