I wanted to mention my husband loves sliced radishes with cream cheese with a little sea salt on top for a snack. He grew up eating thinly sliced radishes and butter sandwiches too.

@GenXmuse My late cousin's favorite breakfast was "breakfast" radishes with salt and good butter. I used to grow them especially for her. If she couldn't get them, she would take any freshly pulled radish.

I remember my mom as a snack would put out a bowl of cold radishes and we would eat them with a sprinkling of salt, I enjoyed the cold crunchiness of them.

Since we went keto and eliminated potatoes four years ago, I've found that radishes make a good s substitute in beef stew. The slow cooking eliminates spiciness/heat and mellows out the flavor. Creamy mashed cauliflower is my replacement for mashed potatoes. Once it's steamed, I run it through my Vitamix with a little butter and cream cheese to get the smooth consistency.
