@homedecor1  They look good to me!  I gave up the decorating years ago, if I put frosting on a cookie, it's all one color.

Today, I made ginger snaps, coconut macaroons, and blueberry muffins.  Tomorrow it will be coffee cookies (with mocha frosting...yum!), and a knockoff of Starbucks Cranberry Bliss bars. 

I would be thrilled to get your cookies!

I have never ran the "auto-clean"  I do it manually -- in fact, my oven & stove look brand new for 5 yrs old.

I'm pretty OCD in the cleaning dept🙄after dinner every nite I have a routine:

Wash dishes & load dishwasher

Wipe down cabinets & counters

Clean stove & oven (if used)

Wipe up kitchen floor 

In fact, my friends kid me I have the neatest & cleanest house in our Community or state!!!

I’m a crispy cookie lover too, and even a little too brown on the edges....those are my favorite. 😋

Your thumb prints, snowballs and sugar cookies are the same ones we always made for Christmas for as many years as I can remember.😋

@homedecor1  People don't have time to bake today. Baked goods are a nice gift and greatly appreciated. People that don't bake have no idea of the expense that goes in baking. Your cookies look wonderful and will be appreciated by the lucky recipient.

@homedecor1 : Weather has a lot to do with baking. I live in Georgia and has been raining and cloudy. Friday was the only total sunny day and baked what I could. Now DH wants a red velvet cake but raining today and not sure that I should bake. Will be sunny on Christmas Eve but busy finishing the big meal for Christmas. Your cookies still look beautiful and delicious. Merry Christmas 🎄. Southern Bee

i am the same wasy with the candy boxes i made for neighbor gifts this year.  i felt they just were not right to me.  but everyone said that they were.  but i am picky ttoo

I love cookies soft and chewy like those. I'd rather have something that tastes good with "imperfections" in shape or uniformity than tight edges and hard cookies! I'd chow down on those!

The only thing I can think of is chilling the dough first before cutting the shapes so they don't spread as much.
