My daughter gave me some cut up frozen rhubarb from her garden. I have some fresh strawberries that I crushed and froze until I had time to make freezer jam. Can I use the frozen rhubarb in the jam? I took out a few pieces and when it thaws it's really "mushy"....not sure what proportions to use.
If anyone has ever done this and has a recipe/some guidance, I'd appreciate it!

I realize I'm replying to a very old thread but, in searching for answers to this question, I came upon this post. I'm hoping someone here has made jam using frozen rhubarb and can chime in. TIA!

We've always thawed it first and just followed the recipe.
