To HoneyBit...............And all others........

I had surgery on 7/22/15, and unfortunate for me, an accident happened during surgery, and then had some other post op issues, but I have just been recovering at home, and dad has been a challange, as he declines more and more, with an out of control blood pressure, so my plate has been full........and having to have some major repairs/construction to my house as well...Guess dad, house and myself are just falling apart, but I am mending, and the house is getting better......but not looking as well for dad.........

Thanks for your kind words.......I will post as I can, as I have missed you all.........

Re: To HoneyBit...............And all others........

So good to hear from you again!  Please know that you are like an ole friend and are in the thoughts and prayers of many.

Glad to know you are improving.  I know the situation with Dad makes it difficult, but just remember that unless you take good care of you, you can't take care of him!

Wish I were there to give you a big hug!   Keep in touch, you are loved.

Oh forrestwolf what a lovely, lovely surprise!  So glad to hear from you and hope you are having a great day and are feeling better (and prayers to you for your health and the health of your father).

And I thought the highlight of my day was that I made pork chops that didn't need a chainsaw to cut through them . . . Smiley Happy

Thanks for the sentiments.......I am actually sitting here eating an old family recipe with pork chops that I tried in the pressure cooker, and they are just moist and falling apart......Woman LOL.

It is one of those YUK sounding recipes, until you try it........I have posted here a long time ago, and it is something that my  mom made for as long back in my years as I can.........Woman LOL

You simply take some flour and season it up...today was garlic powder, onion powder, and just a bit of seasoning salt and fresh ground pepper......Then you spread yellow mustard on one side of the chops, and dip that in the flour, and put mustard on the other side, and flip and flour it really well......My pressure cooker has a sear mode, and I heated up some oil (your choice), and quickly brown chops on either side (turn carefully so as to not lose crust), and place on a plate until all chops are browned......Then put in a couple, back in pressure cooker,  pour 1 can chicken and rice soup on it, then put in the rest of chops and pour another can of soup on top.....set for 10 minutes, and whole thing was about 10 minute prep, 10 minute cook, only minutes to eat........Woman Very Happy

forrestwolf, I see absolutely nothing YUK about that recipe.  Chicken and rice soup added to my grocery list.  I'm going to try this hopefully this week or next . . . thank you for sharing!
