Oh there's cookie!! I'd know that snoring anywhere!!

Isn't it great walker when you get those tests behind you? But then waiting to hear...that's the part I really don't like! Hoping all is fine with you.

I may not get to my next soup until the weekend.

A- Appetite....hey, we get that in the kitchen right?

I wake up in the morning smiling here with our friendly exchange.  And, often I end the day smiling too.  What a great group of friends we have here!  Just fun!  Cookie, happy to hear from you and laughed at your comparison on losing 3 lbs. like 3 eyelashes!!  Losing weight is not easy but 3 lbs. loss will turn into 5 next time...on and on....such a challenge.  If you are trying to lose...stick with it....it is a slow process.  My biggest problem is I think once I lose it...it is gone forever...HA...not so...constant battle.   And, I am sooooo sick of seeing Marie Osmond on TV with her "I lost 50 lbs.".,,,,,great...now go away.

OK....time for Gracie to say good night...Good Night!....rest well.

Good A, bigkat!

Good morning ~  walker, thanks for the memories!  I used to love the Burns and Allen show.  My dad watched it all the time and it wore off.  bigkat, you are missing some good eating - re brussel sprouts.  I love them!  I have made salads with them, but  my fav is to  cut in half, steam until barely tender, then saute in butter, onions, garlic and a pinch of sugar or honey and top with freshly cooked bacon.  Oh yum, I know what's for lunch.  Use fresh only, the frozen ones aren't as good. Sorry for rambling, but I love brussels!!!

I agree about Marie - kind of unbelievable and I am sick of it.  Now Oprah is doing WW.  Looking forward to sunshine - 70 today.  I intend to pay tribute with some amazing UB's!

Good morning friends!! ... walker, still laughing at your comment about telling Marie to go away ... hahahaha ... I used to like her, but find her very annoying now ... especially with that commercial .... I have the same mindframe about losing weight ... it's gone forever!! Smiley Very Happy ... NOT!! oh well, I have absolutely no will power whatsoever ....

cookie, I like brussel sprouts too!! ... I pretty much do them the same as you, except I've never put sugar/honey on top ... bigkat, they really are good ... you should try them someday ... (although I don't know what you would tell your boys!)

Snow flurries today ... high of 26!!

Have a good day ...

Good Morning Friends!

Growing up I never had brussel sprouts and I guess that carried into adulthood.  What surprises me is they seem to be talked about a lot now...and fixed.  My DD and DIL both love them.  Guess I need to give them a chance.  Your suggestions for fixing them sound good.

Time for breakfast.  I am going to a circus today....preschool style.

My granddaughter's class is putting it on....guess she is a tight rope walker.....should be fun.

Happy Thursday to all!

I am also a fan. Years ago we had an Old English Sheepdog who loved them also. She would get her own bowl when we had them!!

Hello again! Not so nice day here today. Raining earlier, then it turned to slushy snow, it's not sure what it wants to do!

I wouldn't mind trying brussel sprouts, no way the kids would!!

We are getting a new kitty! We have been promising the kids for some time for another cat, we just have one right now. Dh was getting cat supplies at a pet store Saturday and a shelter had some animals there for adoption. He was amazed at the 6 pages of info he had to fill out, references and all ( understandable to a point). And then he was told it would be about a week to check us out and to let us know if we would get her. He said (to me) he could go in a store and buy a gun in 20 minutes! Any way, we get her...on our way in a bit after school.

Hope you enjoy the circus walker!!!

Oh loved Burns and Allen. What a love story they had! Oh a new kitty. Our shelter did the long process once. We adopted a little terrier gal. She ruled us with her tiny paw. When she left us it left a big hole in our lives

J: jalapeños. Love them stuffed and wrapped in bacon.
