I knew I forgot something earlier...Tootie I was going to tell you to have a good time with DM, glad you made it through!

Odd thing, I am wondering if teacher got wind of something going on...yesterday and today my son said the days were great, teacher didn't yell at him, he gets kind of a grade each day how it goes (0, 1 or 2 on two diff. issues in class), he hardly ever gets a 2, and certainly not a 2 on both issues, well yesterday and today he had a 2 on both issues and she wrote great day next to them...very unusual. Also, he has vision issues that have not been kept on top of in class, and I just got an e-mail from her about a concern of him seeing materials they are working on...another unusual since she doesn't like to e-mail or answer our e-mails, and him not seeing materials well in class is on on going issue that seems to normally be put off by her. Hummm, coincidence???

Hi everyone - checking in real quick; it's a busy week for school work and I have papers to finish on a deadline. I just wish autocorrect would stop changing "protology" (God's purpose for man) to "proctology!"

It's cold and overcast; one app says 1-3" of snow, another 6-10", and a website says 3-5". We'll see who's right...

Hi again.....FHG....good luck with those school papers. Is your house ok now after water issues? Winter is still here...good luck with your weather problems....we are all in same boat! Spring will come! Bigkat....I am sooooo happy to hear that things are going better for your son in school....whatever it took for the teacher to get the message....it worked! One day at a time........hopefully, things will turn around for your son. Parents need to work with teachers but sometimes that doesn't work so you have to take the next step. Good morning cookie and all ... oh cookie, you are cold!! ... we will have a high of 12 today ... woke up to the loud sound of machinery at 3am ... our town decided to cut the snowbanks back (to make the streets wider)... they were getting kind of tight to navigate down, especially if you met another car ... kind of cool to watch (even if you are half asleep ) ... I've never seen that done!!

Clean up and laundry today .... Have a good day!!

Good Morning Friends! Woke up to about 3" of snow this morning. What a coincidence, Tootie, I heard our snow plows at 3:30 this morning too. Why they have to roar down the street I don't know but, oh well, get the job done I guess! Cookie, thought I saw reports of snow in TX? Guess you will have indoor UBs. Good morning!! I guess we are ALL cold! I have never seen that either Tootie! We sure could have used that last year...the snow is starting to pile up quite a bit now though, hard to see pulling out of driveways and at corners. We had a dusting of snow over night, but they say more is coming.

I'm having that xtra cup of coffee!

Hello ... you're right walker, the plows do get the job done!! even though it is mostly at the most inopportune time (like when you just finished shoveling) ... these guys working last night were on our street for over an hour!! ... I wish we knew they were going to "cut" the snowbanks, we would have chopped them down (height wise) and they could have scooped up that snow too ... then we would be able to see getting out of our driveway ... oh well, at least those that park on the street can park at the curb now (and not in the middle of the street at the edge of a snowbank)
