Hi everyone! It's COLD out there - only 23°, but fortunately the snow that was forecast never materialized.

Had a nice lunch at Popeye's; one just recently opened in my town. The server must have thought I looked malnourished - I got a huge pile of fries, twice as many shrimp as advertised, and an extra biscuit. I came home and went into a food coma. Didn't take the girls with me, and it sure was nice to have a relaxing meal without anyone staring at me like they hadn't eaten in weeks, or trying to steal food off my plate!

Good morning ~ I am off to take my G'son to his dentist appointment @ 7AM! He has Nitrous (sp), so he can't drive home. Glad to see you back bigkat! DD zipped right back to normal and got fairly caught up yesterday. Apparently, it is not the chemo so much as the shot the next day that gets her down. We finally got some sunshine yesterday afternoon and will be 65 today. Countdown, walker please.

Good morning!!! Oh the spring count down is on...do you really think it will happen in 29 days?? It is another cold one and we got several inches of snow over night, and then again after we cleared the driveway this morning. It sounds like we may get dumped on tomorrow. My kids are off for winter break Friday and Monday...that would just top it off if they had a snow day tomorrow! I've been in a brain fog with teacher issues with my youngest...one of those things you feel like you are in middle and can't seem to do the right thing.

Cookie, that is an early appointment! Glad DD is doing well!

Hi bigkat.......those of us in the north know the date of Spring doesn't mean instant warm temperatures....but, we can dream it..ha! Sometimes winter does not want to let go. I have been watching your weather as I would like to get over and see QM but so far snow daily! I'm not taking chances....maybe next week....QM does understand. Hi everyone! The girls woke me up with their whining to go out this morning, and I was surprised to see everything was covered in snow! They wanted no part of it so they just did their business and came back in, and we all went back to bed. By the time I got up it was all done; had I not seen it earlier for myself I'd never have known it snowed.

It's still cold out - in the 20s at night, supposed to go down to single digits. I'm pretty much just hibernating, although I took Angelica to Tractor Supply earlier - they have a big sale on cat food. She charmed everyone; hard to believe someone would just some such a sweetheart.

I hope Kathy is OK - I'll send her an email.
