Good morning friends ... kittyfan, poor DB! I hope he is able to get his luggage back and I bet he's glad he got his laptop back ... he's got too much going on ... but I guess he wouldn't have it any other way!! 😄

walker, hope things are going good with Buddy.

I forgot all about the concert last night but caught the last 15 minutes ... later on, one of the news stations had a tribute program about those that served that I was able to watch ... a nice, nice tribute!!

Finally we are supposed to have a sunny and rainfree day ... high of 68!! ... grilling weather for sure!!

Happy Monday! 🇺🇸 Nice post and message, Tootie.  Hope people take a moment to think about the real meaning of this day.  A day to remember those who gave their lives for this good country.  Many people do not and I probably did not when I was younger.  Then it was kick off to summer.

It can be both but the fallen heroes are the most important...the reason for the holiday.  Time to Google Memorial Day....

The Memorial Day concert last night was another tear jerker ...especially story about soldier who died from injuries in Afghanistan.  Widow and sons were there...I think his parents too.  I was also moved about Vietnam since DH used to fly in helicopters there.  I really like Gary Sinise.  

Buddy has been very good but not good on the walk yesterday.  He would stop and just look at me...so I would get him going until he walked again.  Then at one point he just stopped and laid down on a lawn.  I thought I would have to call DH to come get us.  But, I got him going again and we made it back.  I think he was hungry because he had not been eating much.  Try again this morning.  I know he misses his family.  GOOD NEWS, BUDDY....THEY WILL BE BACK TODAY!  😁👏 

We will be grilling today too, Tootie.  I had not planned on it but watched a TV segment on favorite things to grill.  I got hungry for a hamburger so here's hoping DH does better this time.  😆

Good evening.  

I also watched the program. I also loved the family.  What a tough experience.  If you haven't read The women by Kristin Hannah it is about the viet nam nurses.  I also was enthralled by the soldier from Nrenhsm. It is close and a small town. I had been their many times. Many on business. 

I met FHG on another Q forum.  She introduced me to a troo suport site. I branched out but she took another route. Among our short was the dust offs. I didn't know the significance at the time. I had a cousin who was older was a chopper pilot. Not sure of his duty.  He passed in a chopper accident as a civilian.

We are under severe weather warnings. 

I sent hours dealing with my tech issues starting last night. Lost wifi. Then cable issues. Weather not bad then.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, I saw on the news that your area was having some hefty storms ... ugh! more tech issues!!? but it sounds like you were at least able to fix them yourself??

walker, poor Buddy (and poor you) I laughed at Buddy resting during his walk ... I've seen that happen with people walking their dogs and thought how do they get the dog home without dragging or carrying them ... glad you were able to get him up and back home ... I bet he was excited to see his family!

We are in for a warmer but cloudy 73 degree day ... I have my dreaded dentist appointment this morning ... ugh!! ... and when DH went last month, we have a new hygienist ... I do not like change and would just as soon stay home!!

Happy Tuesday!  Looks like nice day ahead with rain later.

Yesterday was very nice.  DH grilled hamburgers last night....yum😋...no problems this time.

kittyfan, hope the bad weather has passed there.  I did read The Women...very good book!

Good luck at dentist today, Tootie.  Bring home an A! 😂

I understand change with hygenist.  Lost ours last year after many years...😟.  It is not the same....there are two...one I did not care for much but last two times I had the other....like her better but now she goes on maternity leave.  Before that our dentist retired so I have new dentist too.  

No news here....no Buddy...I do miss him but I'll adjust...ha!

Hello friends ... taking a quick UB before the dryer calls me ... I got an A at the dentist!! 😁 ... the new hygienist is very nice and treated me with kid gloves after I told her my anxiety level was sky high! 😂 ... it was a quick in and out visit ... the dentist came in for his quick 1-2-3 look and I chatted with him about his new grandson 👶 ... all in all it was a good visit!! 👍🏻

We are at a nice 73 degrees ... and walker, thank you for mentioning your burgers! ... we're grilling those tonight!!

Congratulations, Tootie!  🦷A!  👏👏👏👏 All over good visit!  Happy for you.  I am still trying to get nerve up to make appointment for my wisdom tooth extraction...😩.

I will do it....no hurry....as long as I get it done by next dental check-up...ha!

Good evening

We had bad weather last night. Lots s of thunder and lightening.   I talked to brother this morning. It hit them about 1:30. They lost power but he does have a generator.  He said his DW and the dog slept through.  

He has been going to bed at 10 and sleeping through. 

I have dental anxiety also.  I had the same hygienist for years until I moved. Brother takes me to his dentist.  I transferred my records. 

I looked at my Amazon cart. Brother put some things in my cart.  I just pay at the bill!   Sometimes I will be considering something and put it in my cart. Then it's gone!   

I need to get some food so I can take my meds.

kittyfan, it sounds like DB is doing better ... that's good ... I guess he needs to get a good nights sleep with some UB's during the day! ... laughing at him putting things in your cart and you paying the bill 😄😉

walker, I know the feeling about having to make that dreaded phone call ... I'm the same way and always wait until the last minute ... you can do this ... SCC Strong 💪

We were able to get outside and putter around in the yard ... those darn "helicopters" were falling like snow!! ... the Bluejays were having a heyday going after the seeds in them!! ... and boy are those birds loud!!

It's nice and sunny now but rain is expected around 10am and then will hang around for the next few days!! ugh!!

No plans for today other than the usual chores ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Wednesday!  Happy...happy...boards do seem to be fixed....👏👏!  

kittyfan, you have had a lot of stormy weather there.  I laughed too about your Amazon cart....put it in and it's gone...ha!  Gremlins everywhere...🤣😉.

Looks like we have rain coming in here too, Tootie.  Might be an inside day.  Just saw our weather report...into the 90's a week from now...🥵...60's today.  Too warm too soon....oh well....ride the roller coaster of weather!  

Those blue jays are noisey....red-wing blackbirds too.  I do enjoy all the birds in my yard especially cardinals.   The other day I had a Baltimore Oriole...what a pretty bird and unusual to see.  I have a neighbor who puts out feeders for the orioles (w/oranges and grape jelly) so hope to see more.  Hoping to get more hummingbirds ....I get a few...come and go but not everyday.

And...that's my bird babble for today...😂.  Time to fly off....tweet..tweet....have a nice day!
