Have you noticed how few people seem to be on the threads anymore? ... there were no comments under Recipe since walkers one yesterday morning 😕 ... so glad we have our other connection if something should happen.

Happy Friday!  🥱 Woke up too early today...5:00...finally got up after 5:30....I'll catch a "cat-nap" later when I take a UB.

Tootie, I have been noticing the lack of activity on the threads recently.  Dullsville!  I have tried, along with few others, to keep the monthly recipe game going but think I'm about done....lost some good posters it seems.  Guess people lose interest. 🤷‍♀️ We will stay connected though....thank you to kittyfan...I think she got us to start the new friendship link! 👍 If you ever want to just "chat" there, let me know.  Or, if boards go down, we are set anyway.

This afternoon we have another gymnastics competition to attend for GD.  This is a state competition but held near here so we can attend.  Interesting to watch...of course, grandma gets nervous....and we have to sit on benches for 2-3 hours.  At least we move a couple of times.  We'll have to miss another fish fry though...maybe next week.

All for now.....oh, snow did melt away by afternoon yesterday....👏👏....hope that is the end of it! 🤞

well I did check on yesterday but my car didn't appear.

Oh I enjoy watching the gymnastics but sitting on those bleachers are a test !  

I woke up to 34 with a high oh 81. Brisk winds again today.  

Today was dominos. Only four so we had a good time. Various reasons.  Fortunately chatty Cathy was not there.  She wears us all out.  

Last week I filed some papers at the courthouse. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my originall legal documents to be scanned into system. I checked the bank and my check cleared. My documents were to be mailed back. Hopefully they will arrive. I will have to call on Monday.  They insisted no copies!   

Of fish fry.   Yum!   I know they are a lot of work.  

I am watching girls softball game. In Kentucky. Folks bundled u!

We had a windy and cooler day yesterday ... more of the same today but add in some rain ... clearing this afternoon with sun!! ... and that's my weather forecast!

Happy Saturday!  No rain, no snow....partly cloudy day...or is it partly sunny?.....🤔.....ha!  Partly cloudy means more sun?  Partly sunny means more clouds? Hmmmm...google it...😆.  Hey....HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Enjoyed gymnastics last night but GD had some trouble.

She pulled a stomach muscle earlier in week at practice.  So, first up was bars and she struggled but powered through it.  Fell from beam but aced her floor routine and came in 5th** overall for state.  She did not do vault.  I felt bad for her but proud too as she kept smiling and trying.  
All part of it....keep going...keep trying...never give up.

DD's in-laws we're there too and I always enjoy talking with her MIL....makes it less painful sitting on the bleachers for a couple of hours..😁.

Tootie, good T...exactly what we had for a late dinner yesterday....tuna fish sandwiches and tomato soup!   

kittyfan, could just see you smiling at dominos missing one player...😉.

I have been watching gymnastics on TV. Amazing!  These gals work very hard at their sport.   Gymnastics is not a part of the sports at the university. But last night they had beach volleyball. Okay we aren't near a beach.  Not sure about this sport.  I did read where they were playing. How much sand did they have to truck in!!!!

Today they blew all the leaves together to bag up.  Of course lots of dust.  Did laundry today. All folded and stored. 

No news in my world.  I peeked in at the Q. I haven't watched in forever.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it's funny to think about the differences in our areas ... they are picking up your leaves now and we're just getting rid of our snow mounds! 😄 ... our leaves are picked up in October/November and we just hope that we don't get a snowfall before they pick them up!! the streets are worse then!! ... I put the Q on occasionally and I do like watching David on Sunday afternoon ...

walker, good for your GD!! she keeps going along even though she had a pulled muscle and after a fall ... a proud moment for her and her family!! ... yay for 5th place 🏅!! ... I got a laugh out of your partly cloudy/partly sunny ... inquiring minds needed to know so I did google it 😁... "both terms indicate that the sky is partially covered by clouds, with both sunny and cloudy areas visible" ... thank you AI!

So today we'll have a sunny 45 degree day with intermittent clouds ... what?? I wonder if it will be partly cloudy or partly sunny? 😂😂 ... oh well, "we'll weather the weather .... "

Happy Sunday!  Thanks for googling the partly cloudy-partly sunny weather, Tootie.  Now "intermittent clouds" ..ha....well, guess we will have it all today followed by rain.

I watched some gymnastics on TV yesterday afternoon.  One gal got a 10 on the beam..,perfect..,she did 3 flips on beam and never lost footing.  WOW!  This was college gymnastic competition.  Not sure how long my GD will stick with it.  

I don't tune into Q much anymore either, kittyfan.  I do check in once in awhile to see what is on.  I like David too, Tootie.  After we got home on Friday, I watched the last program with Mary Beth...sad to see her retire.  But, she deserves it!  She has a lot of class!  Loved by many.  Nice send off for her all week actually.  Not same anymore and when David retires....many 😢 then!  Not soon though from what he says.

Speaking of Q, recently I did catch a program with biscuits being sold...Callie's of Charleston (?).  I must have been hungry because I ordered the blueberry and original.  Going to try the blueberry ones this morning.  I'll report back on them later.
