Goof evening. 

Had a full day of medical appointments.  First was another ultrasound. When I was there heard my phone ring. Of course not in a position to answer.  Then I realize brother is giving my DOB as stepped out.  After the procedure was finished he told me I had early appointment time. I actually had to do two tests before seeing the doctor.  In the past this facility had valet service which was wonderful.  I got a text this was stopped. Brother said he would let me out and then go park.  When they couldn't reach me they called brother. More tests to complete. I guess I am of the age when I need to expect hoops   the nurse who is very sweet commented on my swollen legs. Yes I haven't been in the office in months and he commented.  

We finally dealt with getting out and paying fees.  He said he needed to eat.  First he stopped at grocery to pick up a few items. then we stopped at a restaurant we often go to.  He took me home and then headed to the guys store.   He called to say he was home.  a full day.  Tomorrow will be another full day.  In between Drs appointment took care of business at the bank.  

Today was his dear wife's BD.

walker, ugh, frustrating about you trying to get back into your locker ... but laughed at your comment about if someone wanted what was inside, they could have it!! 😂 ... where I go, we used to have a simple lock, turn the key and get in or out ... but now they don't even use them ... you get changed right in the room where they do their thing ...

We had a nice day sunny day yesterday and today we will be 71!! 😎 ... windows opened, letting in the fresh air! ... we're meeting up with DD for breakfast this morning.

Happy Friday!  Windows open day here....going to be in mid-70's! 😳 Nice but, later high winds and storms...😬...tornado season too.  Hopefully, nothing too bad.

Tomorrow is the St. Patrick's Day Parade in the city and dyeing river green!  Fun day but not going.

kittyfan, you need the Luck of the Irish there to get medical issues taken care of.....DB is like a leprechaun as he moves fast everywhere! 😉 So nice to have DB and DW there for you....otherwise we would have to call in Cousin Eddie to help. 😆 

Enjoy your breakfast with DD, Tootie.  Fish 🐠 Fry night today...going to that as well?  We will be going to ours with friends.

Good evening

What a day.  Got some appointment s scheduled. Still more to do.  

Brother picked me up and we headed out.  We stopped for breakfast.  Then to courthouse. Needed to file some docs, needed my dad's death certificate. She couldn't find one I. System but found it in book.  My dad lost his father when he was only three. I know my grandmother's maiden name but I had my grandfather's first name wrong. It was 'German" rTher than the anglicized name.  Left there on to straighten out vehicle registration snafu.  After waiting an hour finally our turn.  Office was closed and we were still dealing with it.  Left there and stored by the house.  I could only peeke in. A bit bittersweet.  

Temps hit 91.

There was a horrible traffic accident  lastt night. Truck driver intoxicated and speeding. Five dead including an infant and toddler.  So very sad.

Brother took me home and still had some things to do.  

I am exhausted.  I know he was tired.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it sounds like you had another day on the Merry Go Round ... ugh, waiting an hour (I'm assuming at the DMV?) to get things taken care of?! that's annoying! ... glad you were able to get a glimpse of your house ... bittersweet I know ... just think though you will be able to spend some time there if DB uses it as a "getaway" ... (or maybe you wouldn't want to?) ... I heard about that car accident on the news ... so sad!

walker, we did get our Fish Fry and it was delicious, as usual ... hope yours was too! ... I saw on the news about the storms in your area ... hope it wasn't too bad!

We made it up to 72 yesterday ... beautiful!! and today, another warm day but rain moving in (possibly) this afternoon ...

Happy Saturday!  Just turned on weather and MN and ND are having a winter blast of weather.  We did not get the storms predicted...or I slept through it..ha..doubt that.  It did rain. Windy today. Yesterday was beautiful...70's.  That's Spring in the north, eh?  Roller Coaster! ⬆️⬇️☀️❄️💨⛈️

We never made it to the Fish Fry yesterday...☹️.  DH was out yesterday most of afternoon...late lunch and we were suppose to meet friends at 5 for 🐠 Fry.  Just too much in one day so we cancelled....still time for more in coming weeks.  Glad yours was good as always, Tootie.

kittyfan, you are doing better than you think to keep up with DB when he comes to town...appointments, house, etc.  You must really appreciate having a day when you don't have to go out.  The pups must think....there she goes again...now we see her...now we don't...

No news in my world....finished book on Ina Garten, good but lots of details.  Now I am reading about Johnny Carson.....brings back memories.  One time years ago my parents were out so my brother and I stayed up and watched his show.  There was someone on who talked about Spaghetti Trees and how spaghetti grows on them.  Showed photos and people picking the spaghetti.  It was so real and convincing!!!  We believed it.  DUMB!  And, my brother was the smart one...HA!  Told my parents...they had a big laugh.

Starting to babble so off I go.....have a nice day!

Good morning friends ... walker, your story about the spaghetti growing on trees is too funny 😂 ... DD couldn't stay for a Fish Fry on Friday and I told her the same thing, "there will be plenty more Friday's to get one." ...

We had a warm and windy day yesterday ... today more of the same but add in some rain ... I can hear it now whipping against the windows! ... I'm not going to complain though because it could be a lot worse!! all those who got tornadoes and snow!?? yikes!!

We are expecting snow this morning.  Then we have a couple of 60 degree days...then down...and up, etc.  🤷‍♀️

Good evening

Oh my I was talking to brother about the documents.  He said he hadn't looked at them.  I told him where I saw they stored.  He had his laptop and assorted other items.  As we talked he looked at a document.  My brother had filed a legal document.  This was in '93.  When he looked at the document he said h my I notarized this document". I told him I only learned he was a notary a few months ago and I had no knowledge of this.  He said he remembered meeting at a neutral site.  He knew it was my brother but never mentioned it to me at the time.  We were working on the same office. I am still befuddled how the paths crossed!   So many divine interventions. Beginning when I was sent out of town to work with him when he first came to a Texas.  

He helped me with docu signing a document and requesting a car title--i have a relic the fellas are thinking of taking as a work project. I have a clear title but long lost.  

He is heading home tomorrow.  Big event in town so airport will be a zoo.  He plans to be at airport by ,8 for 11,am flight. Not taking a scenic route home. 

When we were in town heading to the courthouse lots of cars on street.  Then I remembered Friday fish fry.  Catholic Church across the street from courthouse.  Very popular event. 

We still have appointments to schedule and other issues to complete. He looked tired when he was here but said he was not. Headed to condo to do laundry and gather everything.  I had talked to his DW after church this morning. Since she was home she was on zoom. She talked almost an hour. Brother did some things, went to store, and brought me some food.  

I knew he worked on a small town in MS before he came to a Texas. He confirmed the town.  He doesn't watch the news and had not heard.  I found a report on line. He looked at the pictures.  Said his office was gone as well as restaurant. Hospital across town bhe was going to check with people he still knew there.  There was so much death and damage from these storms.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, how cool that DB was the one that notarized your DB's paperwork! and now he's around tenfold ... it's funny how things work out!!

walker, oh no! snow?? did you get any?

We had a 71 degree day yesterday with rain and today we drop down to a sunny 40! ... hold on tight!! ... it was a nice day to get my laundry done!!

Have a good day ... I'll be putting my corned beef on later on ... I still do mine on the stovetop ... pouring and passing.
