Happy SATURDAY!  Even DH asked me this morning if it was Saturday!  HA!  Now I know the last two weeks have confused everyone!  😆  I woke up at 5 and thought I'll get up at 6.....next thing I knew it was 7!  Another crazy dream night....in one I was getting married again...wore my same dress but had black shoes on with it...😂.

Later this morning we are meeting DD and family for breakfast/lunch/brunch at 11:00 to celebrate SIL's birthday which was 12/31.  I asked DD why so late and she said "because I have teenagers that like to sleep"....🙄...of course!  No mimosas at the restaurant though...😟.

Good luck getting used to your new monitor, kittyfan.  Another technical challenge but DB will be trained and then train you...👍....write down each step of what to do...if it is complicated...hope not...anything more than ON and OFF is complicated for me!

Tootie....cold here too....10 right now 🥶....but, we'll...

Happy SUNDAY!  OK...back to regular week...no holidays...hopefully, we'll stay on track and be less confused...ha...me? Confused is my middle name! 

We did get those kids awake and out to brunch yesterday.

Breakfast and lunch are my favorite meals. Always a good time with family.   I chose Eggs Benedict with side of fruit....yummy.  No mimosas served but that's ok.....I get plenty here...haha!

Tootie, looks like you and I are dodging the big winter storm going through mid-section of country.  We might have a little lake effect snow tomorrow but nothing like what is predicted south of us.

No news here either...Dullsville as well...guess we should be glad after a busy December.  Hibernation begins!

Good afternoon

I was watching a report of the snow. st Louis area looked like it was affected.    I talked with brother. He had planned to head this way.  Has a low tire.  Will address that first thing.  Has a list of things to accomplish. Will takr me to Drs apt scheduled.   I have a few things I need his help with.

I had to laugh at him. His sons BD was a few days ago.  I asked him how old.  He had to cipher.   We worked in different areas of the agency then. I saw him one day at Sears with his son.  He was about six months. Later we worked in the same office. I had no idea how many years ago!  When he married brother sent me a pic. He said the younger GS has a BD. I asked how old. He said he would have to ask his DW!  I reminded him he didn't know how old his son was without doing the math.

I have enjoyed watching gymnastics. I can't imagine doing these activities.

So graceful.  Balance beam makes me dizzy.  And doing the back flips. But the leotards look uncomfortable!  

This morning I was getting ready to leave for community church.  Reached for my keys --mia.  But I realized I had laid it on the counter and covered it with the mail.  

I heard on the grapevine my neighbor moved. I didn't think she was a good fit.  Filling a spot to fill is not always a good practice. But my rehab background colors things for me. I know business is $$.  She was only here physically a few months. 

Sun is going down. It is getting cooler.  Have things I need to call about tomorrow.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, good luck with your appointments ... I like watching gymnastics too and often wonder how they do what they do and yes, those leotards do look very uncomfortable!! ... beach volleyball too! landing in all that sand!!? 😲 ... I hope you didn't have to look too long for your missing keys ...

walker, laughed at getting those kids awake 😂 glad you enjoyed your Eggs Benedicts with the family ... I think we will dodge those snow storms ... it will be cold, but we can deal with that 😉 like you said, it's hibernation time!!

Yesterday afternoon we got an unexpected visitor ... LS was here because DS (DIL was working) had to take BG to an Urgent Care for Kids ... both kids were jumping on the bed and he fell and hit the bridge of his nose on the bed frame!! ... luckily, no broken nose or stitches needed but he's going to have a big bruise ... he was in a good mood when they came back ... in fact (they give kids a freezie pop) he came in proclaiming "look what I got LS, don't be mad!!" ... grandma to the rescue, I had some in the freezer from the summer.

Yikes! this took me forever ... I had the news on ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Good Morning Friends!  ☕️🥶🇺🇸

Happy Monday!  We had a little snow overnight but nothing compared to other parts of country.  It is very cold so salt trucks are out.  I am happy I do not have to go out.

Tootie, sorry to hear about BG's fall and hurting his nose.  Glad it wasn't more serious.  Your DS was probably thinking 'great...and mom the nurse is not home'.  Funny about BG's return with the freezie pop.....but, grandma to the rescue for LS!   Ha!  

kittyfan, you continue to be the Busy 🐝 with appointments and activities.  Keep moving!  Rest when you can in between DB's visits.  

I enjoy watching gymnastics too especially since GD is so involved in it.  This is the season for her competitions too.

It makes me very nervous.  I think her first competition is in a couple of weeks near here.  We'll go if weather permits and grandma will pray. 😉 It isn't dangerous but it makes me nervous....how do they do it?  LOTS of practice!!

Well, on with the day....hope yours is a good one...stay warm and well....I heard it will be colder in south too...typical for January.

No snow but it is nippy.  Windy.

Oh no accident playing. But thankfully not serious and there was an ice pop to be had!   

Finally got my registration completed. Called bank. I am not a happy customer. Left a number of messages not returned. Responded to one message would respond by next day.

Possible wintry mix later this week.

Brother called about noon. He had a tire issue.  Was there at 7.  Then headed out.  He was pleased with house progress.  Plumbers were there. Guided him out.  Turns and turns. Texted me he had taken care of business in town and headed home. Meeting  a trade peerson. I know he has things lined up and scheduled.

Good morning friends ... kittyfan, it sounds like things are moving along with your house and before you know it, it will be done!! all ready to go with whatever you decide ... ugh, I hope you can get some satisfaction at the bank ...

walker, I get very nervous when I watch gymnastics, I can only imagine how you feel when you watch your GD ... lots and lots of practice for that ...

We got about 3 inches of light, fluffy snow yesterday and overnight ... it has been bitter cold too! ... I didn't venture out to the store yesterday so I may head out today ... we'll see! the roads have been treated and our street is just wet.

Happy Tuesday!  Good I, Tootie!  Icicle season!  And, always Ice Cream season...😉.  I am missing my walks with this cold weather and hope I can get out again soon.

It has to be 32 or close to it.  Probably should go to the Rec Cnter and use indoor track.

kittyfan, hope the house all comes together well.  It sounds like a complete re-do.  DB in charge..has to be good.

I'm trying to start my winter "purging" and throw something out everyday....or put in donate bag.  So far I've cleaned out my recipes...😂.  I have a recipe box and binder full and I did eliminate those I have not fixed in a long time or never fixed.  I tend to copy recipes of something I see on TV and never fix it...ha.  Guess I have started with my smallest project.

On with the day....undecided what I will do...store? chores?  Read?  I have a book due at library on Thursday.

It can't be renewed and I have about 200+ pages to go....not going to make it....slow getting into it but now I am interested.  I'll have to put my name on list to get it again.....or speed read!

Good Afternoon 

I am watching the Carter ceremony. Boy those steps.  The British do the pomp and circumstance.  This is the American version. 

It's cold here but the wind has abated. The predictions of bad weather have been scaled back.

Brother sent me a text saying he was going to rest and then grab me food.  I laughed when he called at 11. He has fallen asleep.  We talked about his day.  Yes the remodel on my house is literally from the ground up.  I expected some of the issues but others popped up.  

I spent time tracking down Drs apts. Why do they always ask my zip code!  

I understand about a good book.  

At one time I was a reciipe collector.  I did enjoy cooking but that is a memory.  I know you enjoy baking your cookies 

Lovely BD celebration. I love brunch.
