We made it to our stop in Kentucky.  It was a good travel day.  We made a couple wrong turns but no big deal...corrected ourselves quickly.  Arrived in time to catch football....out to dinner nearby...had TVs on there so more football....CONGRATULATIONS to your Bills, Tootie!!  They beat Kansas City....big deal!  👏👏👏

The year is zipping by, kittyfan.  But, I'm not ready for the Christmas lights yet as Tootie mentioned.  I have seen decorations up in FL.  What happened to Thanksgiving? 

One more day on the road for Lucy and Desi...so far still speaking...ha!  I'll be in touch from my home base tomorrow.

Brother popped in. Brought me dinner. Tidied up.  I

He has ordered some things from Amazon.  Part was for him. He tries to keep me organized 

He was wearing shorts and they looked really loose. He🫠 said he was going shopping tomorrow.  He is so thin.   He says so little but he tells me he eats. His DW and I make sure he eats. 

They are saying a front in coming through and we may have some temperantal weather. We will see.

walker, glad you made it to Kentucky ... next, home!! ... that was a great football game, thanks walker!! ... I usually don't watch the game but DH had it on and I really wanted to see if we could beat Kansas!!

kittyfan, I agree, we need Thanksgiving first, then Christmas! ... your DB must "run" all his weight off ... he's always on the go!

HOME SWEET HOME!  We made it!  Not a nice travel day....rainy, foggy, especially last two hours....miserable weather...trucks make it worse with spray.  But, we made it safely and that is what is important.  VERY HAPPY to be off the road!  Enough travel for awhile.  I am really tired so will check in tomorrow morning.  Going to have an early dinner and probably early bedtime too! 🥱

welcome home walker!! ... I know what you mean about the trucks on the roads ... annoying, especially when it is raining ... glad you made it home safely!! ... now you'll need a vacation from your vacation 😊

I was in and out with my bloodwork yesterday ... the place I go recommends appointments (otherwise it can be quite a wait) ... they took me right away and it didn't take long at all ... I just wish the workers would be a bit friendlier ... no conversation and this one didn't even crack a smile!  I know it was early, but geez ... 🤷‍♀️

We'll have another mild 55 degree day ... I have my dreaded dentist this morning ... ugh!! ... Have a good day ... pouring and passing.

Happy Tuesday!  Tuesday, right?  What day is it really and where am I? 🤣 You are right, Tootie, I need a vacation from my vacation.  Ha!  Last night DH and I both went to bed at 8:00! 😳 The last couple of weeks with travel back and forth to Michigan and then Florida tired us out!

kittyfan, I hope you start to feel better.  Maybe the changes in your medications have affected you?  Sounds like DB needs some big pasta meals, warm rolls, cookies, cake, etc.  The Energizer Bunny burns off calories as fast as he eats them.

Tootie, I agree on people smiling....especially those dealing with the public.  Is it that hard to smile and say good morning nicely, etc?  🙄  I hope you have both good results and good check-up next week.  Also....pass the dreaded dental visit too!

I did not hear about the Betty White stamp....👍.  I loved her, as did many, so guess that is why she gets the honor.  I should buy some.

No plans today....no travel👏! .....think I have enough food to get through a day or so.  Laundry to do so guess I'll get the day going.....first...more ☕️...😁.  See you later.

Brother arrived this morning.  He immediately pulled my laundry out.  Off to laundry room. Then he cleaned and mopped.   Left to take his DW to a drs appointment 

He called me mis afternoon. Said his afW wanted to look at a piece of furniture. He said didn't matter what he thought about it!   I know she can be a tough customer.  

Called me a bit ago.  More items needed for the remodel.  All necessary but $ continue.  

I think the lab folks are just not friendly folks.  I have labs tomorrow then  we are across town to Drs apt.  

When brother was here organized my meds. Combining bottles etc.

He had bought me an air fryer. Said he would go over it with me. I decided to try my hand at heating a piece of chicken and some fried okra   a bit of a learning curve but it was definitely not like microwave. 

We are expecting 4 tonight. Coldesr night in months.

kittyfan, hope you find that air fryer easy to use.  I do not have one. All these new things....again...can't we just get back to basics..ha!  And, I understand the microwave.  I guess I am not into learning new appliances.

Remodeling is a big money pit.  I assume you will remodel and sell....enjoying profit! 🤞

How cold there?  Something higher than 4 I hope.

walker, did you make it to 9 last night?? 😊 ... traveling does take a lot out of you ... I got an A+ at the dentist 😁 ... next hurdle is my doctors appointment next week ... I haven't checked my lab results yet ... I'm hoping my cholesterol isn't high 🤞

We'll have a mild 60 degree day ... in November??!! I'll take it ... and (drum roll please ... ) it is going to be the "roll back" of the grill day 😄 ... keep your TVs on!! I'll wave to you 😂
